We have all seen man/baby Photoshop head swaps, but Steve Payne has taken the concept to a whole new level. He has taken a collection of 329 portraits of Russian generals active during Napoleon’s invasion of Russia (by George Dawe), and transplanted the heads of modern day celebrities on top.
Due to the quality of his source material as well as his skill, his project REPLACEFACE has become one of the most unique takes on head swapping out there.
This must be how all the legendary Chuck Norris jokes started. Just the look on his faces says, "Are you for real?"
Out of all of these "generals", General Jonah Hill would probably be the least feared.
I vote for a "The Art of War" remake with Jet Li wearing this costume.
Focused, flamboyant, fierce. Robert Downey Jr.
If nothing else, this image gives the impression that Clint Eastwood does not care that he is about to disembowel you like thousands of adversaries before.
Visit REPLACEFACE here to see all of Steve Payne's work from this project.
